The Best Spinner 3: Preparing Articles for Publication | Checking for Duplicate Content
In this tutorial I’ll show you how to prepare your spun articles for online use.
Specifically, I’ll be covering how to check the quality of your spins as well as checking their uniqueness. It’s good practice to check your spins to make sure synonym choices are appropriate and that your spun articles will make sense.
You can easily do this by clicking on the spun article tab. The spun article tab will let you see a single version of your spin formatted article. To generate a new spun version, just click on the new spin button.
You are not limited to the number of article variations you can output. Every time you click on the new spin button The Best Spinnerworks through your article’s spintax and randomly chooses synonyms to output yet another unique variation of your article.
As you can see this process is extremely fast. But please note that very long articles could take a little longer.
By generating new spins a few times you will quickly see if your spintax is working well. If you find synonym choices that don’t make sense or don’t read well you can conveniently make changes directly within the spun article tab.
Notice that as I navigate over a word that was spun it is highlighted in soft yellow. When I click on it the synonym window displays the synonyms that make up this spintax. I can make the appropriate changes to improve my spintax. By looking through a few different spun the variations of your article you can get an overall feel of how well you spun your article.
When you are satisfied with the quality of your spins the next step is to verify their uniqueness. You do this right within the spun article tab by clicking on either copyscape or TBS check. I’ll show you how to use either one which is really a matter of personal choice.
But please note that TBS checker is absolutely free to use while running the Copyscape application requires an API key. Please refer to the customizing your workspace tutorial to learn more about the CopyscapeAPI.
Let’s start with Copyscape by clicking here. Notice that we are automatically taken to the duplicate content tab. It takes just a few short seconds to check whether or not my spun article passes the Copyscape test. Copyscape tells us if duplicates are found, if so how many duplicates exist and the URL of the duplicates if you want to see the entire article and how many duplicate words are found in our spun article.
But the most useful indicator is the duplicate text highlight. You can immediately see what text you need to change in order to pass the Copyscape test.
Using TBS checker is just as easy. Just click here to get started. TBS checker reveals duplicate information in a slightly different way than Copyscape. TBS checker lists all the URLs of the duplicate documents and clicking on each will open a pop-up window that displays both your spun article and the duplicate document side-by-side.
The highlighted text indicate the content is found in both articles making it extremely easy to see what changes need to be done in order to make your spun articles more unique. It’s up to you how much you wish to refine your spins for them to pass the duplicate content test but remember that the more unique your articles, the more they will be indexed as such by the search engines.
Now that we’re happy with our spun article quality and uniqueness the next and final video in our series will show you how to publish it.
